Hey everyone,
since the latest Windows 11 cumulative update (KB5034765) from February 2024, my Narrator (Sprachausgabe) keeps crashing or won't start at all. When I press Strg+Win+Enter, nothing happens. I've already tried restarting the service via services.msc and resetting the app in Settings → Accessibility → Narrator, but no luck.
My system:
Is there a known issue with Narrator and the latest patch? Could it be a conflict with the Realtek audio driver? I noticed that Live Captions also sometimes glitch after the update.
Any ideas? Do I need to reinstall the Narrator package via PowerShell? Thanks in advance!
Edit: Event Viewer shows error 0x80004005 for the Narrator module.

My system:
- Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (Build 22621.3155)
- No third-party screen reader installed
- All other accessibility features (Lupe, Live-Untertitel) work fine
